Bay Horizon Park

he Bay Horizon Park complex is the former Blaine Air Force (radar and communications, no airstrip) Station of the North American Air Defense Command from 1951 to 1979, the Cold War-era.  The 68 acres were acquired by Whatcom County Parks from the U.S. Federal Government for use by the general public for recreational purposes.  The Park practices non-discrimination in employment and services.
